The royal baby Has a Coin

The royal baby still making some buzz and steal heading the top of the news titles, after the announcement of his name yesterday, as the Prince George Alexander louis of Cambridge,today he has a £5 Crown created in his honor, it's a silver coin with a special design of St. George and the Drago, taken from an 1817 depiction by Benedetto Pistrucci, as you see the details in the picture.

The royal Mint honcho Shane Bissett declare to the medias : "Even we are surprised by the fact that the Prince of Cambridge's name was announced just yesterday, and that the artists of the Royal Mint had already created a coin that bears the image of his namesake.”

this design was already  used on gold sovereigns and the  marks on it were the first time used on sterling silver UK coin in more than 100 years.
